👩🏽‍🎨 About you + the role

Are you:

• An experienced visual / graphic designer
• Experience with reports + publication
• At home in Figma
• Comfortable taking lead of the design process - telling us what input, content, support you need, proposing or challenging ideas, flagging when something isn’t working
• A knack for information design - creating simple diagrams, data viz, or visual support where needed

In this role, you will be leading the design of the report and are responsible for making decisions and bringing it forward. We will do all the writing so need someone to take the lead on making it all come together & come alive visually. We have a clear direction and plenty moodboard and want to work with you to bring it to fruition.

This includes:

1. establishing overall visual style for report publication in line with / as extension of AIxD visual identity;
2. proposing lay-outs and general design directions and functions based on moodboard;
3. designing the report back to back;
   • creating lay-outs and adding in content (copy + visuals)
   • cleverly using design elements to support clear information design / visual flow
   • actioning feedback

In this role you’d work together with the copy editor, AIxD’s creative lead Nadia, project lead Ploipailin Flynn, and comms lead Dominika.
