Amount of hours
While the internship is flexible in terms of duration and hrs/week - we set a minimum of 250 hours total to make it make sense. In our experience this is required to make sure you’re properly settled into the team and get the space to create, experiment, learn, and reflect with us in a meaningful way. Practically, this could look like 2 months full-time, 3 days / week for 3 months, 2 days/week months for 6 months.

Location
The internship can be done remotely and/or IRL, in which case you’d work together either with our founder Nadia and content lead Elena from our studio in Amsterdam NDSM.

This is a work placement, which means you will work alongside our team and support existing running projects. This could be in many different roles, and even within your internship, you will switch between wearing many different hats.
From past experiences, we’ve learned internships work best when you adopt a specific role and/or mission. This way, you can really dig into something tangible that you can drive forward, lead on, learn from, take accountability for, and be proud of! We want you to take ownership of something rather than only doing small fragmented tasks here and there.

You can also send in a more open application or propose something you have in mind. While we’re open to receiving these, the chances of us having the space to facilitate them is significantly smaller so the probabilities of working together are much higher when adopting an open request.

This isn’t set in stone or then decided. We will still shape up the internship together based on your interests, learning goals, and talents overlayed with what we’re working on, and organizational needs - but it gives us a good direction 🙂
