When we host an event, we want to share the good stuff! That’s why we cut 1/2/3 video snippets to share the ideas/insights from the talks across socials (linking to the full recording on YT). The goal is to allow people to watch + learn from these conversations on their own time, especially if they weren’t able to attend or are looking for these talks later :)
Similar to the role of note-taking in learning, it’s also an active form for us to synthesise and make sense of what we hosted to capture its most interesting/valuable parts.
It also helps the speaker/guest gain visibility and gets their ideas to a wider audience.
Right now, we’re looking for someone to help us share these amazing nuggets and conversations by creating video snippets!
Currently we use Descript which is an AI-powered video editing & transcription tool. We’ve used premier and other video editing software in the past and decided Descript makes the transcription workflow—which takes the most amount of time—much easier.

We end up with something like this:
An actual snippet from Ep. 00!!
An actual snippet from Ep. 00!!
You get to create content that you yourself would love to see, attend & participate in. In turn, you play an important role in shaping the AIxDesign community and programs and influence the discourse unfolding in this space as a whole.
You will meet like-minded people and build your network of AI and Design practitioners – over the years we have connected with professionals from both the creative and industry sides of AI, and we see it as a huge value of our work as a collective.
Because you have to create and process content about it, you'll end up learning a load about AI and design - in our humble opinion one of the most important challenges of our time and also an emerging field.
You can of course add it to your Linkedin and portfolio.
And hopefully, we’ll have a lot of fun in the process :)
Next to working with interesting content by cool people, you can gain experience in creating snippets and editing short videos, which is one of the most popular and trending content formats (think TikTok, insta reels and other plaforms trying to jump on the video train).
It is 2023 and long-forms on the grid are losing traction. How to share the insights from longer formats for those who don’t have the time and attract attention of those who want to watch the whole thing? The answer is reels.
