Would you like to get more involved with AIxDESIGN? Do you have an eye and heart for graphic / visual design and creating brand portfolio / guidelines?
As our Design Support / Lead, you’d help AIxD look cute across all channels, find interesing visual expressions for the work we’re doing, break the monotonous sea of gray-blue tech-graphics, and further develop and expand our visual identity and design system in Figma.
Some things you might work on:
We’re looking for someone to join for 3+ months and work alongside the team. The role is super flexible in terms of time commitment and we estimate it to be anywhere between 1-10 hours/month (depending on your availability as well).
This is a community position with no or minimal financial renumeration as we have not yet found a sustainable way of funding the organizing team outside of project roles. It could potentially be an internship placement (see Role: Come intern with AIxDESIGN for more info).
That said, we believe there’s many benefits to being the Design Lead at AIxD: you’ll get to create playful and experimental visuals, take creative control, practice leadership, learn from our core team and contributors, expand your network in this space, add a nice title to your Linkedin, and gain invaluable experience. This role is super valuable and much appreciated by the team and the community - it requires care and creativity but can be as intensive as you can permit.
